ControlTemp CT400 Advanced Tamper Proof Thermostats allow the landlord to
control the heat and cool temperature settings by locking and limiting your
heat and cool set points. The tenant or employee will not be able to raise the
heat and will not be able to lower the cooling beyond the set points. By
preventing others from setting the thermostat to extremes, you can save as
much as 30% on your utility bills. This thermostat only works for Single stage
HVAC Systems (conventional and heat pump systems) as well as heat only or cool
only systems. It does NOT work with multi stage or electric baseboard systems.
This thermostat is non programmable. There is a 2-digit security code on this
thermostat that allows the landlord to set the heat and cool set points on the
thermostat. This security code cannot be reset if lost.
